Singers Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are engaged after five years together.
Stefani showed off the ring Tuesday in a photo on Instagram that she captioned simply: “Yes please.”
Shelton shared the same pic and wrote: “Thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”
It will be the second marriage for Stefani, was married to Bush singer Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2016. They have three sons. Shelton was previously married to Kaynette Gern from 2003 to 2006 and then to country star Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015.
Stefani and Shelton went public with their relationship in 2015.
In August, Jimmy Kimmel Live guest host Dua Lipa referred to Shelton as Stefani’s “husband.” The former No Doubt singer smiled, paused and replied: “Um, well… he’s not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it."
In addition to working together on The Voice – where they are both coaches – Stefani and Shelton have collaborated on several music projects since getting together, including recording the title track of her 2017 holiday album You Make It Feel Like Christmas and “Nobody but You” on his 2020 album Fully Loaded: God’s Country.
