Hailey Bieber took the unusual step Thursday of denying a story that hasn’t been published.
“I’m not pregnant,” she wrote in an Instagram Story.
The 23-year-old wife of Canadian singer Justin Bieber made the declaration “since I know you guys were about to break your lil story Us Weekly.”
Bieber added: “So please stop writing false stories from your ‘sources’ and focus on what’s important aka the election.”
As of Friday morning, Us Weekly had not posted a story about a Bieber pregnancy.
Hailey and Justin were married in September 2018.
Justin has repeatedly referred to wanting children. In an August 2017 Instagram post, the singer said he stopped his Purpose World Tour early “so that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be.” In March 2019, Justin said he wants to “sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”
