HAIM are back with a new video and song titled “Right Now”, along with an announcement for their much-anticipated sophomore album Something To Tell You. It will be their second studio album following their 2013 debut, Days Are Gone.
Directed by Boogie Nights and Magnolia director Paul Thomas Anderson, the video for “Right Now” sees the girls performing their latest live in a studio.
The trio of sisters has been teasing the new album, which they’ve worked on with Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batamanglij, via a series of billboards that have appeared around the world. “We write and produce everything ourselves, we don’t have writers sending songs via email,” bassist Este Haim explained of the long period between albums.
The title track will be released May 3, with the full album to follow July 7. Watch the video for “Right Now” below:
