Halsey has responded to taunting by online trolls after she went off on someone who kept shouting the name of her ex-boyfriend, rapper G-Eazy, on Saturday night.
“I see y’all in the comments. And I know you think you’re funny. Cause you’re at home on your iPhone and I’m not a real human being to you," the pop star wrote in the comments of one of her Instagram posts. "I hope to God you never have to experience an abusive relationship. And if you do, I hope the world is kinder to you than you are to me.”
Halsey's posts are being flooded with G-Eazy's name in the comments after an incident during a concert for 200 influencers at a BudX event at the Nautilus hotel in Miami Beach. Between songs, the singer turned and faced the section of the crowd where the heckler was standing.
“If you say G-Eazy one more f**king time, I will kick you out this building,” she said. "I will kick your f**king ass, test me. I will kick your ass out the f**king club. You're not going to disrespect me like that at my own show.”
The "Without Me" singer then got the crowd to chant “F**k that guy! F**k that guy!”
Halsey and G-Eazy had an on-again, off-again relationship that ended in November 2018.
In an Instagram Story after the show, Halsey wrote: “don’t ever let someone make u feel crazy or unhinged cause ur a woman standing up for urself. don’t tolerate disrespect in the name of being ‘nice.’ Love u.”
