UPDATE: At noon EST, Halsey's social media was updated with posts promoting two "intimate shows" on May 8 and 9 to celebrate the re-opening of New York City's Webster Hall, with tickets going on sale Friday at 5:17 pm EST.
Shortly after performing on the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday night, Halsey’s social media profiles went dark.
As of this writing, the pop star’s Instagram account had a black profile pic and only three posts with caption-less black squares. Her Twitter profile pic is also blacked out, as are her tweets.
A link to a mailing list subscription form appears on both platforms. "Tell us about the worst nightmare you've ever had to learn more about its meaning," reads a message.
What does it all mean? What is she up to?
On the BBMAs, Halsey performed her hit “Without Me” and then joined BTS on stage for their song “Boy With Luv.”
