There was very little criticism you could offer about Lady Gaga's high-flying Super Bowl LI set on Sunday, but you can always leave it to foolish Twitter trolls to nitpick the smallest of things.
Apparently Pink is the only pop star that can perform high-wire stunts for an audience.
Needless to say, Pink got word of all the hoopla and took to Instagram to shut down all the fuss with a statement.
In efforts to "squash this before it even has a chance to be a thing," the star complimented plenty of aspects from Gaga's set, before confessing that there is no reason to accuse Mother Monster of absolutely any sort of copying.

"Let’s celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place," she argued. "Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn’t! Cirque (du Soleil) and Peter Pan (have) been in the air for years!"
Meanwhile, Pink also found a way to toss a dig at U.S. president Donald Trump when she ended the note with: "Now can we get back to the real controversy? The one where our so called leader is stripping our humanity away minute by minute…."
