Days after unveiling the news about her forthcoming album, The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving, Camila Cabello has shared the official trailer for her debut solo single, "Crying in the Club," via Complex.
In a 30-second trailer, the former Fifth Harmony bandmate is seen in various black-and-white scenes as violin strings and piano keys play in the background. It's as moody as it gets until the screen turns black, only to reveal the release date for the track: May 19, 2017. Prior to the unveiling of the song, the animated cover art was projected on buildings across the globe, so it's clear that the marketing campaign for the cut is gearing up for a strong start.
"Crying in the Club" was co-written by Cabello, Sia and Benny Blanco. Cabello is slated to perform at Sunday's 2017 Billboard Music Awards, so expect the budding star's television debut of the track during the ceremony, which airs on ABC at 8 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. CST.
