We never thought we'd see this day. Several of the late Prince's music videos have been added to YouTube and Vevo on Friday (July 7).
Imagine our surprise when we went on these video streaming sites and discovered these classic visuals from The Purple One. Videos of Prince's legendary hits like “When Doves Cry,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” "I Would Die 4 U" and more are all there!
But, don't worry. We know you're probably thinking that some random person must have uploaded these. But, the account that's behind this is actually Prince's official website. So, these clips are 100% legit and are ready to be repeatedly viewed by all of the late artists fans, as many times as their hearts please. We're sure more videos will come soon.
We can't help but wonder how Prince would feel about this, though. Back in March 2016, a fan asked him via Twitter why he removed fan-uploaded videos of his shows from YouTube. Prince replied, “Since YouTube doesn’t pay equitable licensing fees, isn’t that a nonsensical question?”
Nevertheless, check out some of Prince's much-loved videos that are now on YouTube and Vevo below.
