After teasing fans on social media over the past week, Iggy Azalea is finally back with her brand new single "Mo Bounce." The single hit radio and digital service providers today (Mar. 23), and is from her long-awaited upcoming new album DIGITAL DISTORTION, which is the followup to her 2014 debut studio album The New Classic.
The party track was produced by Stereotypes (Bruno Mars "24K Magic," "That's What I Like) and Far East Movement, and follows her 2016 single "Team." Also included on DIGITAL DISTORTION, as revealed in a tweet this week, is a song called "Can't Lose" featuring Lil Uzi Vert, which is also featured on her label's mixtape Def Jam Presents: Direct Deposit, Vol. 2.
Iggy wrote in an album update to fans on Twitter:
"I have decided to include one of the songs from my upcoming album 'Digital Distortion' on the new Def Jam #DirectDeposit tape," she wrote in a series of tweets. "Also I felt it was important to say; I know its been a long wait for my album - SORRY! I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes. I felt it was important I made some creative changes too - I needed my album to reflect where my head's at in 2017. I really appreciate the patience & I'm so excited for all the new music, new visuals, album preorder dates etc. I'll be releasing throughout the month of March. Thanks for your support."
To get fans even more excited Iggy also teased her official "Mo Bounce" music video in a unique way. Along with some stills and a short snippet of the visual (via Vevo), the Australian rapper gave fans a preview of the new clip before it's release with several twerk-filled GIFs and animated stickers via Giphy. The "Mo Bounce" music video was shot in Hong Kong by director Lil Internet (Beyoncé's "No Angel), and debuts on Friday, March 24th.
