For three nights, Iggy Pop opened for Metallica during the band's recent gigs in Mexico City, but at the final show, the rockers gave the audience a concert to remember.
During the encore, Pop joined the group to perform The Stooges' classic, "T.V. Eye."
Before the performance, James Hetfield told the crowd, "Metallica has much respect for the man coming out here to sing a song with us. And we're grateful that he's been able to be on this Mexico City tour with us. Please show your sign of respect and love to Mr. Iggy Pop."
Elsewhere in the show, the Hardwired... to Self-Destruct track "Dream No More" saw it's live debut.
If you're excited to see Metallica play live, you've got a couple months left. Their North American tour kicks off on May 10.
