A dedicated streaming channel hosted by legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is now available on iHeartRadio Canada.
Today (November 5) sees the launch of Bryan Adams Radio, a new digital channel offering his fans new and exclusive content that includes Adams sharing personal stories, handpicked tracks from his catalogue, and highlights from the music that has shaped his decades-long career.
The channel’s launch also coincides with a double celebration: Bryan Adams’ 65th birthday, and the 40th anniversary of his classic album Reckless.
CTV and Crave will commemorate these milestones by presenting Reckless Live At Royal Albert Hall, which airs Saturday, November 9 at 12:00PM non on CTV, CTV.ca, the CTV app and streaming on Crave. Taken from his forthcoming deluxe boxset, Live at the Royal Albert Hall 2024 (out November 15), the special concert film features Adams performing his Juno-award-winning album in full.
“Really excited to collaborate with iHeart on my own channel and radio show,” said Adams. “I’m going to be showcasing all kinds of great music in the coming shows, so tune in and rock out!”
In addition to the channel, Orbyt Media has announced the Bryan Adams Radio Show will be available to broadcasters across North America this coming January 2025. The syndicated three-hour weekly radio show will be hosted by Adams and feature exclusive content, interviews, stories, special guests, and a blend of the greatest music of all time.
“Bryan Adams is one of Canada’s most beloved musical exports. This dedicated streaming channel and weekly radio show provide music fans with a window into his sonic world,” said Sarah Cummings, Director of Radio Content for iHeartRadio, Bell Media, and Orbyt Media. “Listeners can connect with Bryan’s catalogue, as well as his hand-curated selection of the best songs ever recorded. Bryan’s unique perspective brings a whole new dimension to the iHeartRadio Canada listening experience.”
iHeartRadio’s Josie Dye spoke with Bryan Adams about the channel, his upcoming Reckless Live at Royal Albert Hall boxset and his love of Canada.
