Imagine Dragons have announced they will release a brand new album, Loom, on June 28.
Featuring recent single “Eyes Closed,” a press release states that Loom "represents the pinnacle of their artistic journey of self-discovery and marks the best body of work they’ve ever made."
Frontman Dan Reynolds addressed fans on Instagram, writing, "thank you for letting me feel less alone here on this planet. for singing with me across the globe. reminding me that we all truly are one and in this together. falling and failing. and then getting back up and trying again. and singing about it along the way.
"you have given me purpose and a place to sing and dance. you have continually stood by our side now for over a decade. in return we will always be here singing along with you. I always and only hope that it helps you feel less alone. It brings you joy. makes you cry. makes you angry. makes you dance. makes you FEEL something."
To coincide with the album's release, the band will hit the road for a North American tour, which kicks off on July 30 in Camden, NJ. There is only one Canadian date on the tour occurring on August 8 at Budweiser Stage in Toronto, ON. You can find the full list of dates over at Live Nation.
A number of presales will run throughout the week, beginning tomorrow (April 23) with the general onsale taking place on Friday, April 26 at 10:00AM local time. More information can be found here.
