Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds clearly wasn’t completely separated from his wife Aja Volkman – the singer said Wednesday they are expecting another baby.
Last April, Reynolds announced that “after 7 beautiful years together, Aja and I’s marriage has come to an end” but in January, Volkman said on Instagram that they were “rebuilding.” Reynolds said Wednesday: "We are back together."
The couple has 6-year-old daughter Arrow and 2-year-old twin girls Gia and Coco.
Reynolds told Good Day New York the baby boy is due in October – and will likely be the couple's last.
"It's the Mormon way, I know, to have like a million kids," he admitted, "but it's like, four already feels like a million kids."
Reynolds added that he was hoping for a son. "I didn't want to tell her that I want to have a boy, because when they tell you, I don't want to be the guy who's like, 'Oh, damn it. We're having [a girl]' because I love my girls. I really love my girls. But, secretly, I was hoping for a boy, to be honest with you.
“So, when they announced it on the phone, when the doctor told us, she was surprised because I was like, ‘YES! YES!' and she was like, 'You told me you didn't care either way. I was like ‘Well…’"
Reynolds said the couple already has a name in mind but don't want to share it just yet.
