Has Taylor Swift struck again?
Rumours are circulating online that a hidden message in “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” her current single with Zayn from the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack, could indicate Taylor’s plans to return to country music.
Buzzfeed first pointed out that the pop phenomenon sings “Until you come back home” a total of 13 times in the song. While fans realize 13 is Taylor’s favorite number (It's shown up in notable places throughout her career.), what they don’t know is why she chose that particular line to sing 13 times.
Could it be because she has intentions to come home to Nashville after a few years in New York City? Or better yet, could it be because Taylor is planning a big return home to country music after leaving for her mega successful 1989 era?
Either way, Taylor’s history of including hidden messages in her songs goes way back to her 2006 self-titled country debut, which featured mystery sentences in each song.
No official word on a new album for Taylor or its genre direction just yet.
