Rapper Ja Rule and the failed Fyre Festival have been hit with a $100 million class action lawsuit.
The suit, filed in California on Sunday, claims organizers of Fyre Festival committed multiple acts of fraud and alleges the event's "lack of adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees—suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions.”

The lawsuit alleges guests that were promised “a posh, island-based music festival” encountered something “closer to The Hunger Games or Lord of the Flies than Coachella.”

The class action lawsuit’s lead plaintiff is Daniel Jung, whose legal team is headed by Mark Geragos, the famed entertainment attorney who has represented the likes of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and Ke$ha.
In a tweet, one of Geragos’ lawyers, Ben Meiselas called Fyre a “festival of horror” and added: “Refunding ticket price is not enough!”
The defendants have not yet responded to the lawsuit and none of the allegations have been proven in court.
