Jake Owen is nursing a broken wrist but insists he will be good as new by the time he sets out on tour with Lady Antebellum in May.

“They say four to six weeks healing on this thing,” the 38-year-old country star said, holding up his wounded hand, in an Instagram clip. “I’m a fast healer. I’ll be ready to go in May.

"I won’t let down the Lady A folks.”

The injury happened while Owen was spending some quality time with seven-year-old Olive Pearl.

“I was riding a skateboard in my driveway with my little girl, Pearl, trying to show her what not to do," Owen recalled. "And I showed her what not to do, all right. ‘Don’t break your wrist, Pearl.’”

The singer made the video message to fans after leaving a doctor’s office.

“I just want you guys to know that I’m going to be OK,” said Owen, who is also vowing to be healed enough to take part in a celebrity golf tournament next month.

“I'm gonna drink some Kryptonite or something. I'll be all right.”
