Jamie Lynn Spears announced on Instagram on Sunday that she is pregnant again!
This will be the 26 year-old singer’s second child, and her first with husband Jamie Watson. Spears had her first child Maddie – now nine years old – with ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge.
“Looks like we are starting off 2018 with another big milestone…sooo happy to announce that Maddie is FINALLY going to be a big sister,” Spears captioned the family photo. “2017 was filled with some of the biggest challenges of my life, as well as some of the biggest blessings, so I made a choice to lay low this year to focus on truly becoming my best self as a person and as an artist.
“During that time, I continued working on my music and telling my story, which has created some of my most honest work and I [CAN’T] wait to share that with you all very soon. 2018 is going to be filled with many milestones both personally and professionally.
“I appreciate each of you for your patience and support through I[it] all. 2018 has a lot coming, so GET READY…….. #12DaysofJLS”
The joyous news follows the unfortunate incident the Spears family endured back in February, when Maddie was involved in an ATV accident and was submerged underwater for several minutes before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully she was able to make a full recovery.
Big sis Britney Spears tweeted her excitement later in the day, saying "Maddie is going to be the best big sister!!! So happy for you @jamielynnspears!!!! Love you all sooo much!!!"
The baby-bump post was the final in Spears’ #12DaysofJLS social media countdown, of which the singer shared 12 of her most memorable life moments leading up to Christmas.
