“That’s the way love goes.”
Janet Jackson has split from her husband Wissam Al Mana.
The news, first reported by Page Six on Saturday, was confirmed by a rep for the pop star, according to ABC News on Sunday.
Only three months ago, Jackson (that’s Miss Jackson if you’re “Nasty”) gave birth to the couple’s son Eissa.
Jackson, 50, secretly married Al Mana in 2012. The star or 2007’s Why Did I Get Married? was wed to dancer Rene Elizondo Jr. from 1991 to 2000 and to singer James DeBarge in 1984/85.
Various sources cited by media outlets claim Al Mana had too much “Control” over Jackson and pushed her to dress less provocatively on stage and in videos.
It’s possible the couple will be “Together Again,” since her rep said they are separated but not divorcing.
Al Mana, a Qatari-born billionaire, and Jackson lived together in London.
Jackson hasn’t released an album since 2015’s Unbreakable. She postponed a concert tour to focus on becoming a mother.
