Jennifer Lopez is taking a break from wedding planning this summer to hit the road – and she’s coming to Canada.
The pop star will bring her It’s My Party Tour on June 7 to Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on July 7 and at Montreal’s Bell Centre on July 10. Lopez hasn't performed in these two venues since her 2007 joint tour with Enrique Iglesias. (Her Dance Again World Tour in 2012 did not come to Canada.)
“It’s my party!!!! Let’s sing and dance the night away !! I can’t wait to celebrate my birthday with all of you on tour this summer,” tweeted Lopez, who turns 50 on July 24.
The show is described in a release as “a non-stop party mix of Jennifer’s new and classic anthems, show-stopping choreography and dancers, dazzling wardrobe, jaw-dropping technology and set design, and all of the glamour and wow-factor fans have come to expect of Jenny from the Block.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 29 at 10 a.m. local time.
Lopez spent most of the summer of 2000 in Toronto making the drama Angel Eyes.
