It appears as if Jennifer Lopez has finally begun work on her ninth studio album. She posted a video of her dancing with producers Skrillex and Poo Bear to Instagram Friday (Mar. 31).
“Playing around in the studio w @skrillex @poobear #US,” she captioned the post. In the background, you can clearly hear JLo’s vocals. Could that mean the three are working on some new music?
Last year, Lopez signed a multi-album deal with Epic Records. She has been busy, however, with her NBC show Shades of Blue. The show just got renewed for a third season. She has also been spotted with Alex Rodriguez, who has confirmed the pair are dating. This album will be her first new full-length release since 2014’s A.K.A., which spawned the songs “I Luh Ya Papi” featuring French Montana and “Booty” featuring Pitbull. No other details have been released, but we hope the wait won’t be too much longer!
