Jennifer Lopez is reportedly pivoting to a greatest hits set following weak ticket sales for her upcoming This Is Me… Now The Tour.
According to Variety, the tour has now been rebranded as This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits without any official announcement or explanation.
Last month J.Lo "mysteriously" cancelled seven dates on the tour without giving any explanation. It was only when fans noticed the shows between August 20 and 31 had been marked as cancelled on her Ticketmaster page.
Tampa, Nashville, Raleigh, New Orleans, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Houston have all been wiped from the tour schedule. This now means that the tour will end on August 17 in New York City.
Canadian fans needn't worry though: the two dates at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on August 2 and August 3, and her show at Montreal's Bell Centre on August 5 are still set to happen.
The slow ticket sales mirror the response to her latest album, This Is Me…Now, which only debuted at #38 on Billboard's 200 with 14,000 units sold.
Lopez self-financed her latest project, sinking a reported $20 million USD into the album, tour and the two films, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story and documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
