The Jonas Brothers and their fans are burnin’ up with excitement after their comeback single “Sucker” debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
The first song from the reunited sibling group is No. 1 on the chart dated March 16.
“AHHH!!! This is unbelievable. My heart is so full of gratitude,” tweeted Nick Jonas. “There was a time I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to be able to make music with my brothers again, let alone have a number 1 song on the Hot 100 on @billboard.
“Thank you to every single person who downloaded, streamed and listened to #sucker. This still feels like a dream, and the best part is is that it’s just the beginning of this incredible new chapter.”
Jonas went on to thank the band’s management, record label, and “Sucker” co-writer Ryan Tedder, as well as “all of our JONATICS! You guys are the best fans in the world, and we wouldn’t be anywhere without you!”
Joe Jonas also tweeted his appreciation to fans. “You guys are incredible. #1 debut on the @Billboard Hot 100?? Are you kidding me!? We are so grateful & love you guys so much,” he shared. “Can you believe this is only the beginning?”
On Twitter, Kevin Jonas exclaimed: “This can’t be real life!! WHAT IS HAPPENING AHHHHHH!!!”
Even Nick’s wife, actress Priyanka Chopra shared her excitement. “OMGeeeeeee!! I Could not be more proud of you guys (screaming inside),” she tweeted.

“Sucker” is the biggest hit for the Jonas Brothers since 2008. According to Nielsen Music data cited by Billboard, the song had 43.7 million streams in the U.S. alone in its first week of release and 88,000 downloads.
Billboard said the Jonas Brothers are the first “boy band’ since B2K in 2003 to grab the No. 1 spot and “Sucker” is the first song by a group since Aerosmith’s 1998 hit “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” to debut in the top spot.
