Country singer Josh Turner has postponed several shows after one person was killed and several others were injured when a tour bus carrying members of his crew crashed Wednesday night.
Eight passengers were on the bus when it went off the highway near Shandon, California, plowed 18 metres through a field, plunged 15 metres and slammed into a riverbed.
One of two people ejected from the bus was 64-year-old David Turner, who died. He is not related to Josh Turner.
The singer and members of his band were not on the bus, which was heading to Washington State for a concert on Friday.
“Josh Turner and his road family have suffered a devastating loss,” a rep for the singer said in a statement. “Please keep the crew, band and Josh in your thoughts and prayers.”
