Singer Justin Bieber and fellow Canadian Antoni Porowski of Queer Eye are among the stars taking part in Global Goal: Unite for Our Future – The Concert.
The special, organized by Global Citizen and the European Commission, promises to “highlight the disproportionate impact COVID-19 has on marginalized communities – including people of colour, those living in extreme poverty and others facing discrimination.”
Hosted by Dwayne Johnson, the special includes performances by Bieber and Quavo as well as Chloe x Halle, Christine and the Queens, Coldplay, J Balvin, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Usher and Yemi Alade.
Porowski will appear as well as stars like Chris Rock, David Beckham, Hugh Jackman, Ken Jeong, Kerry Washington, Salma Hayek and Charlize Theron.
“The event aims to lift up the global community that is tackling equitable access to healthcare, and other enormous injustices facing our world,” explained Johnson, in a release. “This critical moment in history requires all of us – so let’s join together to chart a better future, for everyone.”
The Concert will be broadcast on June 27 at 8 pm ET/PT on CTV and Crave.
