Thanks to his four wins Sunday night, Justin Bieber is now one of the top 10 winners in American Music Awards history.
The pop superstar has a total of 12 AMA trophies in his collection, putting him and Willie Nelson in a tie for the seventh most honoured artist at the AMAs.
Bieber is the only Canadian artist to crack the AMAs top 10.
He’s behind Michael Jackson (24 wins), Alabama (23), Whitney Houston (21), Kenny Rogers/Taylor Swift (19 each), Garth Brooks (17), and Reba McEntire/Lionel Richie (15 each).
The rest of the top 10 includes Janet Jackson/Stevie Wonder (11) and Tim McGraw/Randy Travis (10). Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Olivia Newton John, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood and Luther Vandross each have 9 wins to tie for 10th.
