Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin appeared to confirm on Friday that they are married.

The Canadian pop star posted a photo on Instagram of he and Baldwin that he captioned: “My wife is awesome.” Baldwin, meanwhile, changed her name on Instagram to Hailey Bieber.

As of Saturday morning, her name on Twitter was unchanged – but she hasn’t tweeted since Sept. 8.

The pair, who got engaged in July, sparked rumours in September that they had tied the knot when they were spotted at a New York City courthouse where marriage licenses are issued. At the time Baldwin denied they had wed. "I understand where the speculation is coming from," she said in a tweet that she later deleted, "but I’m not married yet!”

A few weeks later, TMZ reported that a marriage did, in fact, happen

“For some reason, they chose to lie about it,” read a story on the website, which claimed the pair exchanged vows in New York City in the presence of preacher Jeffrey Quinn and witness Josh Mehl. “We're told they still plan to have a formal ceremony, but it would be a ceremony in name only because they are already husband and wife."
