After posting some teasers last week, Justin Timberlake has announced his first new album in six years.

The *NSYNC star shared a teaser trailer for a new album called, Everything I Thought It Was, his first since 2018's flop, Man of the Woods.

Featuring narration by actor Benicio Del Toro and a miniature set ripped straight from Wes Anderson's 2023 film, Asteroid City, the brief clip really only teases the album's title, with no release date confirmed yet.

He did, however, upload a 33-second taste of forthcoming single, "Selfish," which he debuted at an intimate hometown concert in Memphis, TN on Friday night.

Timberlake is expected to perform the new track on Saturday Night Live this coming weekend, where he will serve as musical guest alongside host Dakota Johnson. This will mark his seventh time as a musical guest on the show, which he has also hosted five times.

Where this leaves last year's *NSYNC reunion is anybody's guess, but he appears to be in full solo mode so fans of the boy band might be better off feeding their nostalgia with what JT's fellow bandmate is up to.
