Justin Timberlake has earned his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Man Of The Woods.
As of its release on Feb. 2, Man Of The Woods has sold 293,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music (as reported by Billboard), making it the largest sales week for an album since Taylor Swift’s Reputation back in December. Timberlake also scored the highest-selling week for a male artist since Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN in May of last year.
Timberlake is also conquering the realm of vinyl, with the highest-selling week for a vinyl album since LCD Soundsystem’s American Dream last fall, and overall has the second-largest sales week among male artists ever since Nielsen Music began tracking in 1991.
JT took his first No. 1 album spot as a solo artist with 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, followed by both parts of his 2013 The 20/20 Experience. Timberlake’s only album to miss the top spot was his debut solo album Justified, which held close at No. 2.
Timberlake is currently gearing up to take Man Of The Woods on the road, kicking off the tour in Toronto on March 13 and 14.
