Justin Timberlake had a surprise this week for the Super Bowl fan known as “Selfie Kid” – an invitation to take another selfie!

Ryan McKenna, 13, became a social media celebrity (and meme star) after he appeared beside Timberlake during “Can’t Stop the Feeling” at the end of the halftime show and scored an epic selfie.

On Friday’s episode of Ellen, Timberlake phoned in to talk to McKenna and give him tickets to one of his concerts in Boston in April.

“Ryan, I look forward to meeting you and our second selfie together,” Timberlake told McKenna.

Timberlake said what turned out to be the Super Bowl’s most viral moment “was so unexpected.”

McKenna told Ellen DeGeneres that he didn’t know Timberlake was going to come up the aisle but worked his way down to him when he did.

“I got myself there, I pushed through. I was elbowing people but I got there,” he said. “I was there with him.”
