Kane Brown is a dad!
The 26-year-old country star shared a photo on Instagram of he and wife Katelyn Jae holding their newborn daughter.
He captioned it: “KB3. Welcome to the family Kingsley Rose Brown!”
The baby was born Oct. 29, according to Katelyn Jae, who wrote on her Instagram: “Obsessed with my little family. Kingsley Rose we are absolutely in love with you.”
It’s the first child for the couple, who were married last October.
Brown announced in April they were expecting by posting a sonogram image. “It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!! But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3 IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” he wrote.
Then, in August, the singer revealed the name the couple chose. “Officially announcing our baby’s name! KINGSLEY can’t wait for u to be here!!!,” Brown captioned a photo in which Katelyn Jae is holding a balloon with the name on it.
On Friday, Brown is delivering a new song, “Grew Up Without a Dad.”
He sings: “They say dads are supposed to shape you in a way I guess mine did / I knew what I wouldn’t do if I ever had a kid / They say history repeats itself, but I guess that’s up to me / I grew up without a dad so I’m gonna be the best one I can be.”
