Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have evidently set aside their beef – and are celebrating with baked goods.
Late Tuesday, Perry posted a photo of a plate of fresh chocolate chip cookies with “Peace At Last” written across the top in red icing. “Feels good,” she wrote in the caption, along with a heart emoji and Swift’s Instagram handle.
Swift responded in the comments section with 13 heart emojis.
Fans are calling for more information about the cookies and their origin.
Last year, Swift shared a pic of a handwritten note she received from Perry – accompanied by an olive branch – that opened with: “Hey old friend, I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us…”
The rift stemmed from Swift’s alleged anger over Perry hiring three of her dancers for a tour.
Perry addressed the two pop stars’ spat in a Carpool Karaoke segment in 2017.
“Honestly, it's really like she started it, and it's time for her to finish it,” she said. “I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn't speak to me.
“It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me, and I'm like, OK, cool, cool, cool, that's how you want to deal with it? Karma!”
Swift’s hit “Bad Blood” is supposedly a shot at Perry, who countered with “Swish Swish.”
On Carpool Karaoke, Perry said she was ready for “that B.S. to be done.”
She added: “I think personally that women together, not divided, and none of this petty bulls**t, women together will heal the world.”
Could Perry and Swift take their reconciliation a step further and record something together? At the iHeartRadio Music Awards his past March, Perry said she was “open, open, open!” to collaborating with Swift.
