All of the political commentary tucked into the breezy sounds of Katy Perry's "Chained To The Rhythm" single will likely be incorporated into the video for the pop track, as per new teasers for the upcoming release.
On Saturday, the pop star unleashed a sneak peek for the visual, which introduces viewers to an amusement park named Oblivia. It's an all-too-jolly land, full of attractions like a hamster wheel, a roller coaster called Bombs Away and a tiny set-up named the Great American Dream Drop.
"Leave your white picket fence and explore a utopia!" a voiceover by Star Trek icon George Takei teases.
Many Katy Cats are speculating that the clip will feature an appearance from an old persona by the name of Kathy Beth Terry from the singer's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" clip.
"ZOMG you guys…let’s go to Oblivia on Tuesday! My braces finally just came off and I want some funnel cake!!!" Terry wrote on her Twitter account.
Meanwhile, a tweet from the actual singer's account reveals that the full video for "Chained To The Rhythm" will drop on Tuesday.
