Katy Perry released a snippet of her new song Wednesday, reportedly titled “Chained to the Rhythm”. Along with the announcement, the singer released a cryptic video depicting a hand plugging a pair of headphones into a disco ball. The video zooms in on her nails, which spell out the words “Find me”.
The “Fireworks” singer then tweeted out a map of the U.S., with disco balls dotting several locations. Several sleuths have pointed out that fans who come across the disco balls in locations like Toronto, L.A. and New York may have a chance to preview “Chained to the Rhythm” before its release this Friday, Feb. 10.
The 32-year-old will be performing at the Grammys this Sunday, so the time is ripe for the pop star to debut some new material. Her last studio release was 2013’s Prism, so there is plenty to get excited about for pop fans everywhere.
