A Twitter troll with a handful of followers found out Sunday that it’s not a good idea to go at Kelly Clarkson.
JR Jansen, who has called Hillary Clinton a “despicable B**CH” on the social media platform, decided to tweet about a performance of “God Bless America” at the Indy 500.
“@kellyclarkson Indy 500 - Absolute WORST version of God Bless America I’ve ever heard!!! Sing it the way it was written, without all the slow whining, the “stylizing,” the chirps and warbles. Want to know how to sing it right? Listen to Kate Smith’s version.”
Of course, like many Trump supporters, this one doesn’t care much about facts. Clarkson didn’t perform “God Bless America” at Indy 500 – it was Chevel Shepherd, winner of Season 15 of The Voice.
“I didn’t actually sing that song today but the 16 yr old girl that did, nailed it,” Clarkson fired back on Twitter. “Also, think about the fact that U signed in online & took the time 2 drag a 16 yr old girl.
“Really think about it because Ur showing the worst side of U & I have faith that you’re cooler than this.”
Clarkson performed the U.S. national anthem at Indy 500.
