Kelsea Ballerini is joining The Voice.
The country star will serve as a coach on the competition show’s new Comeback Stage – where singers knocked out in the blind auditions will get a second chance.
“It’s been such a new, fulfilling challenge and I’ve been beyond inspired by the artists I’ve gotten to meet and work with,” Ballerini said, in an Instagram post. “I can’t wait for you to fall in love with them.”
The Voice launches its 15th season on Sept. 24 (on CTV) with coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson.
Ballerini will mentor the artists and narrow the field down to two Comeback Stage finalists who will compete for the first Twitter Instant Save of the season during the Live Playoffs Results show. The winning artist will then decide which team they would like to join moving forward in the competition.
