Celebrity sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been sued by a photographer for using his pictures of rapper Tupac Shakur on t-shirts.

Michael Miller alleges the Jenners "misappropriated and wrongfully exploited at least two original photographs” of Shakur, “slapping the iconic photographs on garments and overlaying them with dubious imagery and text.”

The photographer is reportedly seeking statutory damages of $300,000 USD as well as punitive damages.

Kendall and Kylie previously received cease-and-desist notices from the estates of Notorious B.I.G. and Jim Morrison of the Doors over t-shirts with their images. The sisters pulled the collection and issued a public apology.

“These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists,” they said.

A rep for the Jenners said Kendall and Kylie had nothing to do with the design of the apparel.
