Kendrick Lamar, whose album DAMN. debuted at No. 1, announced a summer tour on Monday.
The Damn. Tour kicks off July 12 in Phoenix, Arizona and hits 16 more cities — including two in Canada.
Lamar will perform July 25 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and on Aug. 2 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
It’s Lamar’s first tour since 2015.
Joining the rapper on the tour will be Travis Scott and D.R.A.M.
Tickets go on sale Friday.
The tour comes hot on the heels of Lamar's set at this month's Coachella music festival in California.
Damn., which was released April 14, tops the Billboard 200 chart. It is the biggest success so far this year, selling 603,000 copies in its first week — beating More Life from Canada’s Drake by about 100,000.
It is Lamar’s third No. 1 album in as many years.
