Kendrick Lamar is continuing to reach milestone after milestone thanks to DAMN.
On Monday, K. Dot announced that his latest album has officially gone double platinum in the U.S. — a first for the rapper. This represents sales of at least 2 million.
On Instagram, Lamar posted a photo of himself kneeling next to his brand new plaque.
"These murals forever belong to my fans," he captioned the picture. "You've always taken my words above and beyond. Around the world and back again. With trust. I am forever grateful. 2x.”
Released back in April 2017, DAMN. was the fastest selling album and the first to go double platinum in the U.S. this year.
It spent three consecutive weeks at the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart.
