Kesha made a not-so-surprising announcement on Friday – her 2020 High Road Tour has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

“This is heartbreaking, but the safety of my fans & crew is my number 1 priority,” the pop star explained on social media. “Because of the current situation, doing this tour in 2020 is no longer feasible.”

The 26-city tour was scheduled to wrap up on June 5 – its only Canadian date – at Caesars Windsor in Ontario.

Kesha promised fans that despite scrapping the tour, she will “do my best to bring you all as much art and music as I can, as we get through this all together.” She also said a new tour will be announced next year.

“I truly can’t wait to get back on the road again and play songs from High Road for you … I’m going to boogie with you SO hard next year.
