Khalid announced Tuesday – the same day he found out he nabbed five Grammy nominations – that he will hit the road next year for The Roxy Tour.
The tour kicks off on May 1 in Portland, Oregon and runs until June 7, with two Canadian shows scheduled: May 2 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC and May 30 at Echo Beach in Toronto.
Khalid, 19, is riding high following the release of his album American Teen. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album and the song "Location" is up for Best R&B Song. The singer, who is up for Best New Artist, is also nominated for Song of the Year and Best Music Video for "1-800-273-8255," his collaboration with Logic and Canada's Alessia Cara.
Tickets for The Roxy Tour (which is named in honour of the dog he adopted) go on sale Dec. 2.
