Kid Cudi announced Monday night that he's been released from rehab.
The rapper took to his Facebook page to share the news.
Cudi checked himself into a treatment facility on Oct. 3 for "depression and suicidal urges.” At the time, he explained: “I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I would've done something to myself."
On Monday, he thanked several of his friends who were there for him during his difficult time, including Travis Scott, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, Pete Wentz, Monica, Wiz Khalifa, Jussie Smollett, and Shad Moss. And, of course, he thanked his fans.
"Thank You for opening your hearts and extending your love and support during a troubling time," he wrote. "I wanted to let yall know it meant the world to me. I have nothing but love for you.
"Words can't really express how much it made my heart glow. I look forward to better days. Feelin' great and brand new. Can't wait to run into each and everyone of you and deliver a big hug. Be ready! Peace, love and light to all!!"
We're glad that Cudi is doing much better. Great things are ahead for him!
