Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett thinks it's pretty sad that Guns N' Roses don't seem to be putting out any new music.
The rocker told the Los Angeles Times: "Unfortunately, they've turned into somewhat of a nostalgia act, which to me is kind of sad." His bandmate, James Hetfield, added, "I don't want to think we're trying to stay young by writing new stuff, but it makes us feel relevant. It makes us feel like we're still progressing."
The two bands toured together in 1992 and since then, GN'R has only put out two albums, while Metallica are set to put out their fifth since the tour. It's called Hardwired...To Self-Destruct and will be out Nov. 18.
