KISS scrapped a concert Saturday night so Gene Simmons could undergo a medical procedure.
“Apologies to the fans in Salt Lake City. We will come back and do the show at a later date,” Simmons, 70, tweeted on Friday. “The truth is, I have to fly to LA to do a medical procedure. Nothing serious. But it must be taken care of now.
“Thank you for your good wishes. All is well.”
No further information was provided.
On Sunday, Simmons tweeted a photo that appeared to be taken from in his bed at home.
The show was supposed to be the last on the North American leg of the band’s End of the Road tour after a Sept. 16 show in Oakland and a Sept. 20 show Los Angeles were bumped earlier this month to March due to “unforeseen scheduling issues.”
KISS is scheduled to resume its tour on Nov. 16 in Australia.
