The daughter of Kurt Cobain paid an emotional tribute to the late Nirvana frontman on what would have been his 50th birthday.
Frances Bean Cobain, 24, posted a handwritten note on Instagram that read:
“Today would have been your 50th birthday. You are loved and you are missed. Thank you for giving me the gift of life. Forever your daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.”
Born Feb. 20, 1967, Kurt Cobain died by suicide in April 1994.
Frances Bean is the only daughter of the rock star and his wife Courtney Love.
