Lady Antebellum wants to amplify the horn section on the lead single “You Look Good” — off their forthcoming sixth studio album Heartbreak — when they bring the You Look Good World Tour to Nashville on Sept. 9.
Horn players can submit a video via social media with their rendition of Lady A’s single by using the hashtag #YOULOOKGOODonstage. The band will hand-select winners to join them in Music City.
Earlier this year, Lady A’s Charles Kelley told iHeartRadio: “Hillary [Scott], for the past two or three records, has been begging Dave [Haywood] and I, ‘can we find a song that we can have horns on?’ and there was just never a song that felt right until this one.”
Kelley also told us the meaning behind the song.
"It's not just about a girl, or it's not just about a guy,” he explained. “It's about this fun relationship, and when you feel like you and your girl, or you and your spouse both are just in love and feel like nobody could touch you.
“I think that's what this song makes me feel, like when you go out and it's like, 'Girl, you look good.' And she's like, 'Yeah, you look good too, man. We're having fun. We still got it.'"
Lady Antebellum’s tour stops in Toronto on June 29, Quebec City on July 6, and London, Ont. on July 12.
