Although Lady Gaga has the Joanne World Tour coming to stadiums around the world, she’s eschewing mammoth venues for more intimate gigs in dive bars – at least for the moment. The “Perfect Illusion” singer will continue the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour she began last October, where she played to tens of fans in small venues across America.
The Dive Bar Tour will include stops in Las Vegas on July 13; Los Angeles on July 26 and New Orleans on Aug. 30. Gaga will only perform at the Vegas stop, before passing off the “Bud Light bottle” to a new artist for the two latter dates. “All the time, I think about how I started out in my career, and I was just playing in bars downtown in New York – and you miss that, you know?” Gaga told Billboard.

Not everyone is happy about this news, however. Some fans are angry that Gaga seemingly won’t release a music video for “The Cure”, which has been a radio mainstay for many weeks.
Gaga recently wrapped filming on Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born – a remake of the 1937 classic about a talented ingénue that gets a leg-up from a flagging star, eventually eclipsing his fame. As for plans to unveil new music on her Joanne World Tour? “Absolutely!” she said in the interview. “It's going to be really fun, and I'm really excited.”
