Lady Gaga's promotional circuit for Joanne is still in motion and her latest stop was an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
During the sit-down interview with Lee Cowan, which aired on Nov. 27, at her parents' restaurant in New York City, the pop star opened up about a number of topics. But the real viral moment is her talk about love after the end of her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney.
"I think women love very hard. We love men," she admitted. "We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don't know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with.
“You know, we're not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you."
Gaga and Kinney got engaged on Valentine's Day 2015 and separated this past July after five years together.
Shortly after the news hit the blogosphere, Gaga took to Instagram and asked for support from her Little Monsters. Alongside a black and white photo of the duo, she wrote: "Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.”
