Organizers of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) have announced that Lady Gaga will perform following a screening of the documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two.
The pop superstar will deliver “an intimate onstage performance” after the world premiere of the film at TIFF, which runs Sept. 7 to 17.
Directed by Chris Moukarbel, the doc goes behind the scenes of Gaga’s professional and personal life over the course of eight months, including her work on the Joanne album, her Super Bowl halftime performance, and her split from actor Taylor Kinney.
She also shared insights on her physical and mental health – and revealed what bothers her about Madonna (whom she said she admires).
“We’re thrilled to be bringing this film to audiences in Toronto,” said TIFF artistic director Cameron Bailey, in a statement. “This one is for all her fans, Little Monsters, and movie lovers alike.”
