Reports initially had May 26 pegged as the release date for Lana Del Rey’s album, Lust For Life. A tweet sent by the “Love” singer today revealed that the release date would be much later – July 21.
The album is her follow-up to 2015’s Honeymoon. It will feature Stevie Nicks on a track titled “Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems” and The Weeknd. She told the NME that it will have a more “socially aware” and “global feeling” than the last album.
Del Rey has publicly released the tracks “Love,” “Lust for Life” and “Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind” from the album, writing a personal message on Instagram after the latter release.
“What a blessing it is to make music in general,” the singer posted. “And to have the freedom to put songs out about things that move me in real time. I wrote this one last month on my way back from Coachella…Hope you like it.”
