Lewis Capaldi announced on Friday he is releasing a new deluxe version of his debut album just in time for the holidays.
Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent: Finale, out Dec. 4, is a 2-CD set that includes 15 album tracks and a dozen recorded live at Capaldi’s Wembley Arena concert on March 12.
“That’s right, another version of an album that I released two years ago that you’ve all heard countless times,” Capaldi said in a video message on Twitter. “I’ve been flogging the same dead horse for the same two years … The king of flogging the same old stuff is back!”
Capaldi said he signed 500 copies for fans who were first to pre-order and will be awarding a FaceTime session with one lucky person.
The singer said he has been listening to his live shows “almost everyday” during the pandemic and “wanted ya all to be able to hear them back to remember a time when we were all together in the same room.”
